It was one of my busiest and most wonderful days at RheinAhrCampus. I participated in many activities on that day: the Kids & Teens Program (organized by students from the International Business Studies course), the Study Abroad Fair (stand), and in the presentations introducing my university. I started my day in the morning helping with the preparation for the program for kids and teens from local schools. It was great to meet the kids and introducing my own culture and country to them. One kid asked me whether we eat the same bread in our country or not :) We distributed sweets from different countries and answered the kids’ questions. Now they know where Mongolia is on the world map, what the people look like and what we eat. Also they met our French, Hungarian and Russian students. In the afternoon I was at the stand to introduce my home university which is in Izmir. RheinAhrCampus students asked me many questions and I tried to give them as much information as possible. One student asked me that whether the students are allowed to drink alcohol which is a very typical stereotype for Islamic countries. Don't worry about the parties in Izmir. There are many famous beaches in Izmir and bars, you will have fun! The International Day was a great opportunity for the students and for me to share my experience!
Sincerely,
