Heather Noel and I have been on kind of a losing streak with the podcast — of the seven movies we've reviewed since returning from our summer hiatus, we've given mixed to negative reviews of five of them... and the only two exceptions were two Criterion reissues, Crumb and Black Orpheus. Hmmm... hope that doesn't discourage you from downloading this week's broadcast! If it's any consolation, Solitary Man and Micmacs are some of the best mediocre movies we've seen in quite a while! Also, we give the thumbs-down to the trailer for Being Michael Madsen, so maybe Michael Madsen will launch an incredibly petty revenge scheme on the two of us in the sequel. You can subscribe to the show through iTunes, or you can download it directly by clicking here. In the meantime, here's that 1922 Kodak colour film test we mentioned at the top of the show...
...and here's that horrible trailer for The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond, which manages to look even more old-fashioned than the Kodak test.
